The Gift

Looked down into a tiny pinkish face, i saw an eyes so full of innocence and love. 'Isn't she beautiful?' my sis whispered and mouthed as she held baby and suddenly all i could see was how braved and happie my sis was in the whole prenancy period and delivery process.. Instantly i clung to her and told her ' Xiao bie hao ke ai hao ke ai o(chinese)!' This was a moment that i would never forget really. It had meant so much for all of us to see her born, cry out, as though she was calling to us and telling us she had made it. We had all waited for her for so long. Xiao baby was then brought to the nursery where they weighed her and cleaned her up. Me and mummy walked hesitately down the hall and stopped at the nursery window. And there she lay , wrapped in a pink blanket and we thought that she is just a precious gift from god.
